We are so sorry to announce that the Southeast Region must cancel the Music City Puppet Festival at the Sheraton because the attendance is below what is needed to pay for the expenses of performance space, transportation, performers and food & beverage.
· The International Puppet Festival at the Library will still take place. · You room rate at the Sheraton will be honored, so please plan to attend the shows at the Library. · If you do not plan to attend the International Festival, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CANCEL YOUR ROOM AT THE SHERATON. If you don’t cancel it the hotel will charge your credit card for the first night. · If you do plan to still attend the International Puppet Festival at the Library there will be no transportation provided. However, you can take a taxi or ride with other puppeteers who will also still be attending the International Puppet Festival at the Library. There is also a bus that runs hourly from the hotel to downtown. Ask the Front Desk to make reservations the cost is $12 round trip. · If you are planning to attend the 4 PM performance on Thursday, let me or Brian Hull at the Library know so that they have the number of puppeteers that will be attending.
